As an Endoscopy Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
This includes pre-procedure preparation, monitoring during procedures, and post-operative care.
The role requires strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring patient stability and comfort throughout their experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including assessment and stabilization of vitals.
Establish IV access and administer necessary pre-procedure medications.
Assist the endoscopy team during procedures, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients as they recover and offering guidance for home care.
Ensure infection control measures are followed throughout all stages of patient care.
Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Completion of COVID-19 vaccination series, including booster.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in an endoscopy, gastroenterology, or procedural nursing setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support patients and their families.
