Job Summary
The Registered Nurse delivers compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This role requires excellent critical thinking, adaptability, and adherence to high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort during 16-hour shifts.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
- Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Work every other weekend as part of the rotational schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license in the state of employment or compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through AHA (American Heart Association).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both local and travel nursing assignments.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to varied patient populations and work environments.
Certifications
