We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide exceptional patient care and support residents with daily activities, ensuring comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will work closely with nurses and physicians to assist with patient needs, monitor health conditions, and maintain a high standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
Respond to patient calls and determine the best way to assist them.
Provide physical support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene.
Assist bedridden patients by turning and repositioning them regularly.
Ensure patients receive the correct diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
Gather and report information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses regarding patient conditions, treatment plans, and activities.
Measure and record patient intake/output and communicate changes to nursing staff.
Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, as requested.
Identify and report any medical concerns, such as wounds, bruises, or signs of infection.
Remind patients to take prescribed medications and nutritional supplements.
Observe and report any changes in patient behavior or symptoms to nursing staff.
Stay up to date on CNA training and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience as a CNA is preferred.
Education: Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
Certification: Active CNA certification in [State].
