We are seeking an entry-level MRI Technologist to deliver specialized radiologic technology services for adult and pediatric patient populations.
This role supports medical staff in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of various conditions.
The position involves patient preparation, use of advanced imaging equipment, and adherence to clinical protocols, with opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient-centric care in diverse settings, including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient practices, and diagnostic centers.
Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures.
Operate specialized imaging equipment and perform diagnostic procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
Transfer images and data to archival systems, document findings, and ensure compliance with quality and accreditation standards.
Perform equipment quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve desired clinical outcomes.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher, preferred.
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program in cardiovascular or radiologic technology.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must meet eligibility requirements for MRI Certification, to be achieved within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and radiologic technologies.
Ability to work effectively in a team, multitask, and handle stressful situations calmly.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
