Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ortho Trauma team.
The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic setting, working closely with physicians, patients, and families to ensure optimal outcomes.
This role involves delivering care to patients with orthopedic and trauma-related conditions, ensuring adherence to hospital procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments, noting any changes in physician orders.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor physiological data and respond to patient needs promptly.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver competent and compassionate care to patients.
- Communicate care plans effectively with patients and their families during hospital stays and upon discharge.
- Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel and delegate tasks to support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Stepdown and Med-Surg settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active RN license for the state of Oklahoma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Surgical or orthopedic experience is highly preferred.
Certifications
