The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for packing and receiving pharmacy-related tasks. This is a temporary-to-hire position, requiring at least 2 years of experience. The technician will be expected to obtain CPHT certification within 13 weeks of starting the assignment. The position is available for a 13-week contract period, with the potential for permanent hire.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform packing and receiving duties related to pharmaceutical products.
Assist in inventory management, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Verify and label medications according to prescription requirements.
Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure proper handling of medications and supplies.
Follow safety protocols and pharmacy regulations during all tasks.
Work collaboratively with other pharmacy staff to support daily operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including COVID-19 safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a pharmacy technician role.
Licensure/Certification:
CPHT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) preferred.
Must obtain CPHT certification within 13 weeks of starting the assignment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with packing and receiving pharmacy products.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and regulations.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Certifications:
