• Provide direct nursing care to newborns in the Level 2B Special Care Nursery, including those requiring specialized interventions.
• Monitor and assess the health status of neonates and postpartum mothers, implementing care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor vital signs in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Educate parents and families about newborn care, discharge planning, and postnatal support.
• Participate in unit rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing education.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 2+ years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience required.
• Strong clinical skills in special care nursery and newborn care.
• Ability to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, and nights) and every other weekend (EOW).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required.

• Experience in Level 2B Special Care Nursery or similar settings.
• Proficiency in managing high-risk neonates and postpartum care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
