1. Perform radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
2. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety
3. Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
4. Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any concerns or complications
5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images
6. Maintain patient records and document imaging procedures in compliance with hospital policies
7. Ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self
8. Assist in maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
9. Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and best practices

1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
2. Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
3. State licensure as required by local regulations
4. Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and safety protocols
5. Excellent communication and patient care skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
7. 
   

1. Prior experience as a Radiology Technologist in hospital or outpatient settings
2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
3. Advanced training in specialized imaging procedures (e.g., fluoroscopy, mammography, or interventional radiology)

1. ARRT Certification required
2. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred
