We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and other radiographic equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires technical expertise, patient care skills, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety
Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any concerns or complications
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images
Maintain patient records and document imaging procedures in compliance with hospital policies
Ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self
Assist in maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and best practices
Required Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
State licensure as required by local regulations
Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and safety protocols
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Prior experience as a Radiology Technologist in hospital or outpatient settings
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Advanced training in specialized imaging procedures (e.g., fluoroscopy, mammography, or interventional radiology)
