We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Unit. The RN will provide specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those recovering from cardiac surgery, undergoing interventional procedures, or requiring advanced monitoring. This role demands strong clinical expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular diseases and post-surgical recovery needs
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic parameters, and vital signs
Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products safely and accurately
Assist with cardiovascular procedures and support patients during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
Manage advanced medical devices such as central lines, chest tubes, pacemakers, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, recovery protocols, and lifestyle modifications
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide rapid interventions for acute cardiac events
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 1–2 years of acute care or cardiovascular nursing experience
Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, cardiovascular procedures, and patient care protocols
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Prior experience in a Cardiovascular Unit, Cardiac ICU, or Telemetry Unit
