The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care, coordinating clinical services, and supporting patient safety and quality outcomes.
This role involves assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on clinical needs
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
Monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and respond appropriately to clinical situations
Document patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes accurately and timely
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment plans
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions
Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and quality standards
Assist with care coordination, discharge planning, and transitions of care
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional nursing standards
Comply with all applicable healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure in the applicable state
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to provide safe, patient-centered care across diverse patient populations
Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical experience in hospital, acute care, long-term care, or outpatient settings
Experience in specialty areas such as medical-surgical, telemetry, ICU, ER, or specialty units
Strong teamwork and care coordination skills
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or other specialty certifications (if applicable)
Education: Associate's Degree
