We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols.
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, including telemetry readings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Prior experience in a hospital setting with telemetry monitoring.
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Certifications (if any)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Requirements:

Telemetry experience required
Meditech experience required
Floating possible to similar units
Travel experience required
