We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit to provide direct patient care across pediatric through geriatric populations. This role involves addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care within the surgical environment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting surgical teams with equipment readiness and procedural assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care to diverse age groups, from pediatric to geriatric populations
Address psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care in the surgical environment
Communicate continuously with surgeons and anesthesiologists regarding patient condition
Assist with maintenance and inventory of surgical equipment
Assess operating room readiness and obtain necessary supplies for individual cases
Ensure all needs of the surgical operating team are met
Monitor, position, and assist patients during procedures
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursin
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Expertise in Operating Room and PACU settings
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care

Current Registered Nurse license in the State.
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)

Education: Bachelors Degree
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
