JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and quick-thinking Registered Nurse - Emergency Room team. The ER Nurse will be responsible for providing rapid assessment and treatment to patients in critical condition, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage patients based on severity of condition using standardized protocols
- Administer medications, IVs, and emergency interventions as needed
- Monitor vital signs and patient progress; document accurately in EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized ER environment
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards
- Participate in emergency codes and disaster preparedness drills
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in state.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to multitask under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in trauma or high-acuity ER settings
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Education: Bachelors Degree
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support , Pediatric Advanced Life Support
