We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic breathing disorders, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
Administer oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory treatments
Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment usage
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes
Required Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
Current license/certification as a Respiratory Therapist in [state/location]
Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques and equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure clinical environments
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications
