We are seeking a highly qualified RN House Supervisor responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Patient Care Services. This position plays a key role in supporting patient care and nursing staff, especially during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays, while also working closely with the Admitting Office and other departments to ensure seamless hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the operations of Patient Care Services during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Provide administrative and clinical support to the nursing staff in the absence of Clinical Nursing Leadership.
Collaborate with various departments, including the Admitting Office, to ensure effective patient care.
Facilitate patient care by interacting with nursing/patient care staff and other hospital departments.
Ensure patient care is delivered effectively, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Skills Required:
Ability to read tele strips, perform cardiac drips, and titrate medications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of staff and patients courteously and effectively.
Leadership abilities and the capability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
Proficiency in hospital software applications.
Advanced clinical skills with strong decision-making capabilities.
Experience Required:
2+ years of advanced Med/Surg Tele experience.
Preferred: Critical care nursing experience.
Preferred: 2+ years of relevant healthcare experience, including progressive leadership responsibilities.
Education:
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Licensure and Certifications:
Required: Active and valid state RN license (in good standing).
