We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse – Apheresis to join our specialized care team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic apheresis procedures, including plasma exchange, red cell exchange, leukocyte reduction, and stem cell collection, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform therapeutic apheresis procedures such as plasma exchange, red cell exchange, leukocyte reduction, and stem cell collection.
Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any complications.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and ongoing care.
Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 1 year of apheresis nursing experience.
Strong knowledge of therapeutic apheresis procedures and patient monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
3–6 months of prior travel nursing experience.
Experience working in diverse hospital settings.
Certifications (if any)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – preferred.
Apheresis-specific certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Education: High School
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiac Life Support
