1. Perform transthoracic echocardiograms according to physician orders and established protocols
2. Obtain diagnostic cardiac images of high quality for physician interpretation
3. Conduct 8–10 exams daily in an outpatient clinic environment
4. Prepare patients for procedures and explain testing processes to ensure comfort and cooperation
5. Document findings accurately and maintain patient records
6. Maintain equipment including proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of echocardiography systems
7. Collaborate with healthcare teams including cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and staff to support quality patient care
8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and patient safety standards
9. Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements

1. Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program
2. Current RDCS or RCS certification
3. Experience performing adult echocardiography exams independently
4. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
5. Excellent communication and patient care skills
6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
7. 
   

1. Prior experience in outpatient cardiology clinics
2. Familiarity with advanced echocardiography techniques
3. 
   

1. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) – Required
2. Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) – Required

Education: Bachelors Degree

Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer , Registered Cardiac Sonographer
