The Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Surgery provides care for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, supporting recovery and treatment in a hospital setting.
This role involves performing routine procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine procedures, including dressing changes, suture and staple removal, Foley catheter care, NG tube insertion, and wound vac maintenance and removal.
Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal care.
Float to other medical-surgical units as needed, adapting to diverse patient needs.
Foster a supportive environment, treating patients with compassion and care.
Required Qualifications
Active NC RN License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Hospital experience, particularly in orthopedic care.
Strong teamwork skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
