The Endoscopy Nurse provides comprehensive care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, supporting their comfort and well-being before, during, and after procedures.
This role includes monitoring patients, administering medications, and assisting physicians to ensure smooth operations and high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Address patient questions and concerns, providing reassurance and information as needed.
Monitor patient vital signs and administer sedatives before procedures.
Administer IV drips and other required medications.
Recover patients post-procedure and complete all required documentation.
Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Assist doctors during endoscopic procedures, maintaining patient safety and care standards.
Required Qualifications:
Active RN state license.
Demonstrated experience in inpatient care and proficiency with endoscopic equipment.
Strong attention to detail, effective interpersonal communication skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in endoscopy or a related clinical field.
