JOB SUMMARY
The Occupational Therapist I is responsible for providing patient care for individuals requiring rehabilitation, focusing on optimizing their physical, functional, psychological, social, and emotional well-being. This role operates under established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for individuals requiring rehabilitation services.
- Direct patient care to address individual special needs.
- Optimize patients' physical, functional, psychological, social, and emotional well-being.
Schedule / Shift
- Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required.
- Valid licensure as Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts required.
- Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association required.
- Must have outpatient general Occupational Therapy experience.
- Must have outpatient Occupational Therapy experience in hand and neuro rehabilitation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Experience
- Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Outpatient general Occupational Therapy experience.
- Outpatient Occupational Therapy experience in hand and neuro rehabilitation.
