JOB SUMMARY
Provide medical nutrition therapy and patient education to pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nutrition assessment, intervention, and care for pediatric patients.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic diets and healthy eating habits.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Document patient care activities according to facility standards.

Schedule / Shift
Flexible start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
8.5-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch break.
Weekend on-call rotation every 4th weekend.
On-call duties include Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Work is primarily remote via issued laptop and secure chat.
Occasional in-person work may be required on a case-by-case basis.

Required Qualifications
2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
Florida Registered Dietitian (RD) License.

Experience
Experience working with pediatric patient populations.
Experience with remote work and telehealth modalities.

Skills
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to educate and counsel patients and families effectively.
Proficiency in medical nutrition therapy.

EMR / Systems
Epic experience is required.

Unit / Specialty
Pediatric.

Floating / On-Call
On-call duties required on a rotating basis.
May be required to float to other designated campuses as needed.
Travelers are prioritized for floating assignments.

Education: Masters Degree
