JOB SUMMARY
Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assist with patient assessments, administer medications, perform treatments, and educate patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to facility policy.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other procedures as needed.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Unit / Specialty
Med Surg

Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience
- Previous experience as an LPN/LVN preferred.

Skills
- Proficient in patient assessment and care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to administer medications and treatments.
- Competency in electronic charting.

Adults and Geriatrics

Floating / On-Call
May be required to float to other units as needed.
