We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neurovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This critical role involves providing specialized care to patients with complex neurological and vascular conditions, ensuring patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate support during intensive treatment and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care to critically ill neurovascular patients in the ICU.
Monitor and assess neurological and vascular status, including vital signs, intracranial pressure, and hemodynamic stability.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced interventions as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, recovery, and ongoing care needs.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Respond promptly to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in ICU or critical care.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
5+ years of recent ICU experience (within the last 2 years), preferably in neurovascular care.
1 year of high-risk neurovascular ICU experience within the last 2 years.
Prior experience with high-risk neurological or vascular patients.
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS).
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
