JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced pediatric acute care and trauma center environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare patients for CT examinations, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate CT scanning equipment, including Siemens CT scanners.
• Monitor patients during procedures, responding to any changes in condition.
• Ensure the proper functioning of CT scanner equipment and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Schedule / Shift
• 7-day block schedule.
• Specific shift: Thursday 0700-1900, Friday 0700-1900, Saturday 0700-1900, Sunday 0700-1900, Monday 0900-1900, Tuesday 0900-1900, Wednesday 0900-1900.
• Weekends are required.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Texas (TX) CT Technologist license.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens CT scanner operation.
• Experience working in a pediatric acute care and trauma setting is preferred.

Certifications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required.

Experience
• Previous experience as a CT Technologist.
• Pediatric acute care and trauma experience is preferred.

Skills
• Proficiency in operating CT scanning equipment.
• Excellent patient assessment and care skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

EMR / Systems
• Experience with EMR charting systems.

Patient Population
• Pediatric patients.

Unit / Specialty
• Children's Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

Floating / On-Call
• No floating between units.
• No on-call required.

Education: Certification
