Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Location: Greenfield, OH

JOB SUMMARY
Provide speech-language pathology services to patients to diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Schedule / Shift
Days, 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Experience
• Experience providing speech-language pathology services to diverse patient populations.

Skills
• Proficiency in assessment and treatment of a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Certifications
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) - ASHA

Unit / Specialty
This position may involve services across various settings and patient populations, potentially including but not limited to acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient services.
