Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist specializing in adult echocardiography to perform a variety of diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures. The ideal candidate will provide accurate imaging to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform adult 2D and 3D echocardiograms with precision and attention to detail.
- Conduct stress echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac function under exertion.
- Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and advanced structural heart procedures, including TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman device placements, and LVAD assessments.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and the clinical team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and quality control protocols.
- Adapt quickly to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certification from either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Proven experience in adult echocardiography procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- No additional preferred skills listed, but candidates with relevant experience will be prioritized.
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- CCI or ARDMS Certification – Required
