Job Summary
Seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment. This position involves performing CT scans on a diverse patient population, adhering to established protocols, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Position patients appropriately for CT examinations.
- Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Ensure proper operation of CT scanner and related equipment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Operate PACS and RIS systems for image management and documentation.
Schedule / Shift
- Nights
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable).
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT).
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
Skills
- Proficient in operating CT scanners and associated hardware.
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications
- ARRT (CT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
