JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technician to provide high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure assessment and education.
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic parameters during procedures.
- Administer medications and contrast agents as directed.
- Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment and associated technology.
- Ensure sterile technique is maintained throughout procedures.
- Post-procedure patient care and monitoring.
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Schedule / Shift
- 4x10 hour shifts per week.
- Shift times vary weekly, typically starting at 06:00 - 16:30.

Required Qualifications
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- RCIS certification or ARRT certification.

Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience.
- Previous travel experience is required.

Skills
- Proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Unit / Specialty
Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Floating / On-Call
- On-call responsibilities required, based on department needs.
- Currently includes 1-2 weeknights and 1 weekend per month (Friday 17:00 - Monday 06:00).
- Holidays will be covered by call as needed.
- May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
