JOB SUMMARY
Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating patients and developing treatment plans.
• Implement established treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, functional training, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies for functional independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Schedule / Shift
• 40 hours per week.
• Days.
• Alternating 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
• Must hold a PTA license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Must have a minimum of 1 previous travel assignment.
• Must have 2 years of Physical Therapy Assistant experience.
