JOB SUMMARY
Provide high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely according to physician's orders.
- Perform daily quality assurance procedures and equipment checks.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to treatment and report to the physician.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress in the EMR system.
- Educate patients and families about the treatment process and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain competency in radiation therapy techniques and equipment.

Schedule / Shift
8 hours within the hours of 0700-1630.
Weekends: None.
Holidays: None.
Call: None.

Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Radiation Therapist.
- Valid Radiation Therapist license.
- BLS certification.

Experience
- 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Experience with Varian products, including Aria and align RT.

Skills
- Proficient in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
