JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist (General) to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, and superficial structures.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
- Evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Schedule / Shift
- Day shifts, including potential for evenings or weekends as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program.
- Certification by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in General Sonography.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.

Skills
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of general ultrasound scans.
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

EMR / Systems
- Experience with PACS and RIS systems.

Patient Population
- Experience with adult and potentially pediatric patients.

Unit / Specialty
- General Diagnostic Imaging

Floating / On-Call
- May require floating to other imaging areas as needed.
