JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified and experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care within the Interventional Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform image-guided procedures in Interventional Radiology, CT, and Ultrasound.
- Administer care during procedures involving catheters, stents, and IV pumps.
- Assist with MRI procedures including anesthesia and pacemaker observation.
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures.
- Adhere to unit guidelines and policies to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation within the EMR system.

Schedule / Shift
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
- One day of call throughout the week.
- Every 3rd weekend on call.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital RN experience.
- Flexibility, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
- Strong patient care experience.

Experience
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital RN experience.
- Prior travel experience to large trauma facilities is preferred.
- Medical Imaging experience is highly preferred.

Skills
- Ability to perform image-guided procedures, including invasive procedures in IR, CT, and Ultrasound.
- Proficiency in assisting with MRI procedures involving anesthesia and pacemaker observation.
- Competent in the use of fluoroscopy suites, catheters, stents, and IV pumps.
- Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

- Meditech
- CPN

Patient Population
- Adults and potentially pediatric patients requiring image-guided procedures.

Floating / On-Call
- On-call duties required throughout the week and every 3rd weekend.

Education: Bachelors Degree
