JOB SUMMARY
TRAVEL - CATH LAB TECH - COST CENTER (746)

Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
- Administer medications and contrast media as directed.
- Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Sterilize and maintain equipment and supplies.
- Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
- Assist with post-procedure care and recovery.

Schedule / Shift
7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Unit / Specialty
Cardiac Cath Lab

Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Experience
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technician.

Skills
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Experience with arterial and venous access techniques.
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization equipment and accessories.
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS

EMR / Systems
- Experience with electronic charting systems is typically required. (Specific system not mentioned in original description)
