JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a travel RN with specialized wound and ostomy care expertise to provide autonomous consultation and direct patient care within an inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert wound care recommendations and treatment plans.
- Conduct weekly follow-up assessments for wound care patients.
- Perform autonomous consultations for inpatient wound patients.
- Take pictures and measurements for wound documentation.
- Provide new ostomy teaching to patients and families.
- Manage complex wound vacs and fistulas.

Schedule / Shift
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Wound Care experience.
- Ability to function independently.

Certifications
- WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing)

Experience
- Inpatient wound care experience.
- Experience managing difficult wound vacs and fistulas.
- Experience providing ostomy teaching.

Skills
- Autonomous patient care and consultation.
- Wound assessment and treatment planning.
- Ostomy management and education.
- Wound vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) therapy.
- Fistula management.
