JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team. This role involves providing essential assistance to surgeons during operative procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment and sterile field.
• Select, arrange, and open sterile supplies and instruments for surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team by anticipating instrumentation and equipment needs.
• Perform surgical scrub duties, maintaining sterile technique throughout the procedure.
• Handle specimens and surgical counts according to established protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping.
• Clean and restock the operating room after procedures.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team.

Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Experience
• Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.

Certifications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills
• Proficiency in sterile techniques and aseptic principles.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
• Ability to anticipate surgeon's needs during operations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
