JOB SUMMARY
Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatment programs to restore function, improve mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess patients' physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and preventative strategies.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy.
Schedule / Shift
Full-time, day shifts. Weekend and holiday rotations may be required.
Required Qualifications
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Certifications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience
• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.
Skills
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Proficiency in therapeutic exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
EMR / Systems
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
Patient Population
• Adults and geriatrics with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions.
