JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide essential patient care and diagnostic imaging services on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician's orders and established protocols.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and prepare patients for imaging studies.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment to ensure quality images and patient safety.
- Accurately document patient information, procedures, and findings in the patient's medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule / Shift
- Monday - Friday
- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- NMTCB certification
- BLS certification
Experience
- Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
Certifications
- ARRT
- NMTCB
- BLS
Skills
- Proficient in performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling and safety protocols.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to nuclear medicine.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
EMR / Systems
- Familiarity with common healthcare EMR systems is beneficial.
