JOB SUMMARY
Performs a variety of technical duties in direct and indirect patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting. Assists the surgeon during cardiovascular surgical procedures by anticipating needs, providing instruments and supplies, and maintaining a sterile field.

Key Responsibilities
Assists surgeons in cardiovascular operating room procedures.
Anticipates and responds to the needs of the surgical team.
Selects, prepares, and maintains surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Maintains a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure.
Handles specimens and cultures as directed.
