JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Tech for a travel assignment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining consent.
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in the cardiac catheterization lab.
- Administer medications and contrast media as directed.
- Respond to emergency situations according to established protocols.
- Maintain sterile field during procedures.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
- Clean and stock the cath lab following procedures.

Schedule / Shift
- 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Requires on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology program or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS

Experience
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech.

Skills
- Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring.
- Familiarity with cardiac imaging modalities.
- Ability to circulate and scrub procedures.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

EMR / Systems
- Experience with cardiac charting systems.

- Adult cardiac patients.

Floating / On-Call
- On-call duties are required.

Education: Certification
