Physical Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, injuries, or movement disorders. The Physical Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient goals.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other physical therapy interventions.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
  • Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall functional independence.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the applicable state.
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, treatment techniques, and rehabilitation practices.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, problem-solving, and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • Previous experience in a hospital, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation center, skilled nursing facility, or home health setting.
  • Experience treating orthopedic, neurological, sports medicine, or post-surgical patients.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus.

Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (preferred or required based on facility)
  • Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) (preferred)
  • Board-Certified Clinical Specialist certifications such as OCS, NCS, GCS, or SCS (preferred)
