# JOB SUMMARY
Provides direct patient care for individuals requiring medical and surgical nursing interventions. Focuses on patients with conditions requiring close monitoring, including cardiac rhythm and telemetry monitoring.

# Key Responsibilities
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their conditions.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare needs and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.

# Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.

# Experience
• Previous experience as an RN in a MedSurg or Telemetry setting is preferred.

# Certifications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required.

# Skills
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in administering medications and treatments.
