JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified CT Tech to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform CT scans according to physician's orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare patients for CT examinations, including explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment, ensuring proper function and quality control.
• Accurately position patients for optimal imaging.
• Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Document patient care activities and procedures in the patient's medical record.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment according to infection control policies.
• Participate in on-call duties as assigned.

Schedule / Shift
• Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 6 months of current CT Tech experience.
• Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with trauma I or trauma II level patients.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment.
• Experience with Meditech EMR system.
• Experience with Centricity PACS.

Certifications
• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (CT)
• BLS

Experience
• Minimum 6 months of current CT Tech experience.
• Night shift experience preferred.
• Trauma I or Trauma II level experience preferred.

Skills
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform CT scans on various patient populations.

EMR / Systems
• Meditech
• Centricity PACS (preferred)

Patient Population
• Adult and potentially pediatric patients requiring CT imaging.

Unit / Specialty
• CT Scan

Floating / On-Call
• Willingness to float to related imaging areas as needed.
• On-call duties may be required.
