Job Summary 
The Licensed Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and other licensed staff. This role supports daily patient needs, assists with clinical tasks, and ensures a safe, comfortable environment for patients in hospital or long-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
Take and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Support patient positioning, transfers, and ambulation.
Assist nursing staff with patient care procedures and treatments.
Maintain patient comfort and safety by following established care plans.
Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
Report changes in patient condition to supervising nurse.
Maintain cleanliness of patient areas and ensure infection control standards are followed.
Provide compassionate communication and support to patients and families.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program.
Current LNA certification in good standing.
Basic knowledge of nursing practices and patient care techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

Physical/Mental Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Ability to follow infection control procedures and safety protocols.

Preferred Experience
Previous experience in hospital, long-term care, or clinical settings.
