JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified CT Tech CT Technologist for a night shift position with no weekend requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT scans according to physician's orders and established protocols.
- Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media as required and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety, radiation protection, and infection control policies.
Schedule / Shift
- Night Shift
- No Weekends
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- State licensure as required.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
Certifications
- ARRT (CT)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
Skills
- Proficient in CT imaging techniques and protocols.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to CT imaging.
- Skilled in patient positioning and care.
- Understanding of radiation safety principles.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot CT equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
EMR / Systems
- Experience with PACS and RIS systems is beneficial.
