JOB SUMMARY
Provide high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. This role involves operating radiation therapy equipment, ensuring precise patient positioning, monitoring patients during treatment, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician's prescription and established protocols.
- Accurately position patients for treatment using immobilization devices and standard techniques.
- Operate and maintain linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects during treatment and report to the physician.
- Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment charts and progress notes.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about the treatment process and potential side effects.

Schedule / Shift
Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of current Radiation Therapist experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active Colorado State Licensure (CMD).

Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT (T) certification.
- Experience in Radiation Oncology.
- Proficiency with Meditech and Mosaic EMR systems.

Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CMD (Radiation Therapist Licensure)

Experience
- 6+ months of current Radiation Therapist experience.
- Radiation Oncology experience is preferred.

- Patient positioning and immobilization techniques.
