JOB TITLE
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient
JOB SUMMARY
Provide physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting to promote mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Contribute to achieving departmental productivity goals.
Schedule / Shift
- Monday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Tuesday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) licensure in Massachusetts.
- Current CPR certification.
- 1+ years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
Certifications
- MA PTA licensure
- CPR
Experience
- 1+ years of PTA experience, outpatient setting highly preferred.
- Preferred: 2+ years Outpatient setting experience.
Skills
- Ability to perform therapeutic exercises and treatments.
- Strong patient education and communication skills.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Time management and organizational skills.

- Adult patients requiring physical therapy.
