JOB SUMMARY
Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), and Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) departments. Ensures patient safety, provides exceptional care, and maintains sterile environments throughout procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Verify package integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures utilizing sterile technique.
- Prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization after procedures.
- Monitor and record all procedural data, maintaining procedural event logs.
- Ensure patient comfort by familiarizing them with equipment and supplies.
- Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites, including sterile drapes.
- Perform scrubbing duties during procedures, adhering to sterile and aseptic techniques.
- Advocate for radiation safety for self and colleagues, wearing personal radiation dosimeters.
- Take necessary precautions to limit and minimize patient and staff radiation exposure.
- Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses.
- Evaluate reports to ensure radiation values are within established safety limits.

Schedule / Shift
- Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- One to two weeknights of call per week.
- Every fourth weekend on call.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification.

Certifications
- ARRT registered.
- Cardiovascular Technologist registered.

Experience
- Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure procedures.

Skills
- Proficient in sterile and aseptic techniques.
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.
- Ability to accurately document procedural data.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
