JOB SUMMARY
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care within the framework of the Nursing Process, adhering to state Nurse Practice Acts and hospital policies. This role involves demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in safe patient care delivery. The Registered Nurse maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education, delegates patient care tasks based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel.

Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the Nursing Process to provide care to patients.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care planning and delivery.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel.

Per Diem: Days

Required Qualifications
- Florida RN or multi-state compact RN license.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Vent/trach experience.
- Knowledge of central lines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Wound care experience.
