JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment at West Valley Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations by handing instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Operate specialized surgical equipment.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team.

Schedule / Shift
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Scheduling Requirements: 4 10-hour shifts or 3 12-hour shifts per week.

On Call / Floating
- On Call: Rotating weekends.
- Floating: May float between Main OR, 2nd floor OR (eyes), and/or endo.

Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with orthopedic, spine, urology, general, and gynecological surgical procedures.
- Advanced skills with DaVinci robot, MAKO robot, Globus robot, and Medtronic Stealth systems.

Experience
- Demonstrated experience in surgical technology.

Skills
- Proficient in surgical preparation, instrument handling, and sterile technique.
- Competency in assisting with a variety of surgical specialties.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a surgical team.
- Familiarity with robotic surgical systems.
