JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled Multi-Modality Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains active status in the modalities in which they practice.
- Assists the department coordinator by providing clinical leadership, completing projects, advanced level clinical duties, and regular assignments as requested.
- Is competent in all exams performed within the assigned modalities.
- Corroborates patient clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by the radiologist.
- Prepares the patient for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
- Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories to successfully perform procedures.
- Positions patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort; immobilizes patient as necessary.
- Practices aseptic technique as necessary.
- Prepares and administers contrast media as appropriate to procedures performed; starts and maintains intravenous access.
- Initiates basic life support action when necessary.
- Provides patient education.
- Provides input for supply and equipment decisions, maintains control of inventory and supplies for assigned area.
- Provides practical instruction for students and partners.
- Observes universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identifiers.
Schedule / Shift
- 40 hours
- Mid shift hours
- Weekend rotation
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registered in Radiography
- ARRT registered in CT
- WI-DSPS radiographer license
- AHA Provider BLS/CPR required
Experience
- Experience performing both CT and X-Ray procedures.

- Proficient in operating multi-modality imaging equipment.
- Skilled in patient positioning and immobilization.
- Ability to administer contrast media and maintain IV access.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and universal precautions.
